IGNOU Admissions 2020: IGNOU January 2021 Cycle Re-Registration BEGINS!

Re-registration is applicable only for candidates who have already enrolled in a programme by the university.

IGNOU Admissions 2020: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) commenced the re-registration process for January 2021 cycle. Candidates interested in IGNOU Admissions 2020 can visit the official website of the Open University, i.e. https://ignou.samarth.edu.in to complete the registration process. The re-registration for MP, MPB and MCA programmes will be opened in a couple of days, IGNOU said. Re-registration is applicable only for candidates who have already enrolled for a programme by the university.

According to an official statement released by IGNOU, “Re-registration means registering for next year/semester of a Programme. So it is applicable only to students enrolled in undergraduate/postgraduate / semester-based programmes of two-three year duration”. IGNOU further added candidates can re-register for the next year or semester of their programmes irrespective of whether they have submitted the assignments or appeared in the term-end examination of the previous semester. Before submitting the IGNOU re-registration forms, the University also asked learners to read the instructions available on the portal carefully.

For all the re-registration details and latest updates on IGNOU Admissions 2020, students are advised to visit the official web portal of the Open University, i.e. www.ignou.ac.in. Previously, IGNOU extended the last date for the online registration for its July 2020 cycle until November 15, 2020, due to the ongoing pandemic situation. Students must note that the University will conduct the IGNOU December TEE exams in February. Considering the increase in COVID-Q19 spread, IGNOU also extended the last date for online admission for the December 2020 session until December 15.
