IGNOU December TEE 2020 assignment submission deadline extended

Students enrolled for the December TEE must note that they can submit their assignments until the end of this month in online and physical mode at the respective study centres.

IGNOU December TEE 2020 assignment submission deadline: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) extended the last date to submit the assignments, project reports, fieldwork journals, dissertation, and internships until January 31, 2021, for the December term-end examinations 2020 (TEE). Students enrolled for the December TEE must note that they can submit their assignments until the end of this month in online and physical mode at the respective study centres. The official notice released by the varsity states, “Submission of Assignments for the Term End Exam, December 2020- both online and physical submission, extended up to 31st January, 2021,” read an IGNOU statement.

 “Submission of Project Report, Field Work Journals, Dissertation, Internship etc., for the Term-end Examination, December, 2020- both for online submission and physical submission extended upto 31st January, 2021,”the notice further reads.

The decision is taken considering the ongoing pandemic situation. Meanwhile, India’s largest Open University also took a decision to extend the last date of IGNOU re-registration for the January session until January 31. Students interested in IGNOU Admissions can register for the January session online at the ‘Samarth’ platform. This is applicable to students studying for undergraduate, postgraduate or semester-based courses of two or three-year duration. For online classes, students can register at the official website of IGNOU, i.e. ignou.samarth.edu.in.

In order to curb the academic losses and provide support services to the students amid the COVID-19 crisis, IGNOU has been using various platforms such as social media, FM radio and television channels like Gyan Vani and Gyan Darshan. To assist students, the university is also providing self-study material in printed and digital forms, multimedia material and offering online certificate courses.
