IGNOU introduces online BCom, 2 PG courses in information security and entrepreneurship

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced that it has introduced three new programmes - B.Com online programme, Masters of Science (Information Security) and Master of Arts (Entrepreneurship). All those who are interested can apply for IGNOU Admission 2021 by visiting the official website of the varsity; i.e. ignou.ac.in. 

Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for admission to any of these programmes.

For BCom online programme, candidates must have completed their class 10+2 from a board recognized by state and central government. To be eligible for admission to Masters of Science (Information Security) and Master of Arts (Entrepreneurship), candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline or its equivalent from a recognized university.

The minimum and maximum duration for these programmes are two years and four years, respectively. However, with a minimum of two years, Master of Arts (Entrepreneurship) has an exit option as PG Diploma in Entrepreneurship (PGDER) after completing 32 credits.

The admission to Master of Arts (Entrepreneurship) is offered through the July session for ODL programmes. The Masters of Science (Information Security) and Master of Arts (Entrepreneurship) will be taught in English medium. To study Masters of Science (Information Security), candidates have to pay a fee of Rs. 10,800 per semester. For Master of Arts (Entrepreneurship), candidates have to pay an academic fee of Rs. 7,500 per year.
