IGNOU January 2021 session registration extended until March 31

Candidates who are yet to register for the January 2021 session can fill the IGNOU 2021 application form at the IGNOU Samarth portal, i.e. ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

IGNOU January 2021 Session Registration: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) again extended the IGNOU registration window for January 2021 session until March 31. According to the official statement released by the Open University, the candidates who are yet to register for the January 2021 session can fill the IGNOU 2021 application form at the IGNOU Samarth portal, i.e. ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. Earlier, the IGNOU registration deadline for January 2021 session was March 15. The IGNOU registration 2021 for the January session was commenced on February 3.

The Open University is extending the deadline considering the delay in exams and results of other academic institution due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus followed by the nationwide lockdown. Meanwhile, candidates interested in IGNOU Admission 2021 for the BEd programme must note that the IGNOU online registration window for the BEd programme is open only until March 20.

The varsity commenced the IGNOU BEd registration for January 2021 session on March 2. The application will be considered valid only after the payment of the requisite application/registration fee. Applicants can deposit the IGNOU registration fee through debit card, credit card or net banking. IGNOU begin the largest Open University in the country, offers a wide variety of certificate, diploma, UG, PG diploma, PhD and PG programmes in the ODL (Online Distance Learning) mode in two different admission sessions - January and July.

IGNOU has also released the examination dates for Bsc post-basic nursing programme for the January session. According to the official schedule announced by IGNOU, the entrance exam will be held on April 11. The application process for the same has commenced and the last date to submit an application form is March 20.
