IP University begins choice filling option to 17 programmes

Interested students must note that the choice filling option for BTech will be available until November 8, 2020.

IP University Admissions 2020: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, popularly known as IP University, commenced choice filling option for 17 academic programmes, including a major programme BTech. Interested students must note that the choice filling option for BTech will be available until November 8, 2020. Meanwhile, the choice filling option for other 16 programmes – MAMC, MSc( EM), LLM, MA( English), MBA ( IT), MA ( Criminology), MSc ( Forensic Science), Med, BEd, MSc ( Biodiversity & Conservation), BHMCT, BTech ( Biotech), MAHM – MCPHM, MSc ( NRM), MA ( Economics), BA ( English) will be available until November 2, 2020. The move is a part of online counselling leading to admissions. 

Candidates must select as many as choices possible in order of preference for better chances of seat allotment in accordance with choices at IP University. The course-wise cut-off data of IP University is available on the counselling website, i.e. ipuadmissions.nic.in. The reports also suggest that IP University already started offline counselling process for courses having a limited number of seats. Choice filling option for other programmes like BBA, BCA, BALLB/BBA LLB, etc. is likely to begin soon. For all the regular and latest updates, candidates are advised to visit both the websites – pu.ac.in and ipuadmissions.nic.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Government announced that it has increased the number of seats at the IP University. The government increased 1,325 seats in different academic programmes offered at the University. The number of seats in IPU and its various affiliated colleges has been increased from the academic session 2020-21.
