Kashmir University UG, PG exams 2021 to remain deferred until May 15

Earlier, Kashmir University announced the postponement of the semester exams due to rising cases of the novel coronavirus in the state.

Kashmir University Semester Exams 2021: The University Of Kashmir spokesperson stated that the undergraduate and postgraduate semester exams will remain deferred until May 15.  Earlier, Kashmir University announced the postponement of the semester exams due to rising cases of the novel coronavirus in the state until May 2. Considering the safety of the students, the University further decided to keep its hostels closed until May 1.

While talking to a reputed media source, KU spokesperson said, “The University of Kashmir has decided to postpone all its offline examinations, including for UG and PG courses, until May 15 and close its hostels May 1.” However, an official announcement on this is yet to be released by the Kashmir University. The University is also yet to announce the new date sheet for semester examinations. The students are advised to keep a regular check on the official website of the varsity, i.e. www.kashmiruniversity.net to get updates on the new dates for semester exams.

An official statement released by the University earlier said, “It is notified for the information of all concerned that all the University Offline PG and UG Examinations scheduled till May 2, 2021, are hereby postponed, in view of the prevailing circumstances. The fresh dates of postponed examinations will be notified later on.”

Meanwhile, the varsity has extended the last date for Kashmir University admission 2021 to 1st-2nd Semester Choice Based Credit System Scheme for BA/BSc/BScH/BCom/BCA /BBA/BMMMC/OCMIL (General/Honors) programme at Under-Graduate level (in respective colleges) up to and including until May 10, 2021.
