Mumbai University Semester Exams 2022 begins, students still await hall tickets

Mumbai University Semester Exams 2022: Mumbai University has begun the semester exams in offline mode. However, even with exams starting, the students are still anxious as they are yet to receive MU exam hall tickets and details about the exam centres.

Now, the students have started flooding social media platforms demanding clarity on the MU semester exam timetable. Many engineering students have claimed that Mumbai University has not yet published the timetable for the semester exams that are scheduled to begin on December 8, 2022.

Despite the ongoing chaos due to the delay in the MU exam time table, hall ticket and exam center, the MU LLB students appeared for the exam on November 29, 2022. As per the media reports, many students appeared for the MU Final-year semester exams without hall tickets. They appeared in the exam after the university created a tentative admit card based on the permanent registration number at the last minute, the TOI reported.

Students said that "the delay in issuing hall tickets has caused additional problems as they were already stressed about the physical exams."

Some students even thought that the varsity has postponed the exams as they were not issued the hall tickets even a day before the exam. Mumbai University had been holding semester exams in online mode until now due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The report also suggested that several principals of MU colleges did not even know that the colleges were exam centres.
