MU Exams 2026: Mumbai University has again postponed winter 2025 exam dates. This time, due to Maharashtra Zilla Parishad election counting. Earlier, Mumbai University exams, which were initially postponed due to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections, have now been rescheduled again.
The official notice stated "All Heads of University Departments, the Director of Thane & Kalyan Sub Centres, the Director (CDOE), and the Principals of all affiliated colleges across all faculties have been informed that the Winter 2025 examinations have been postponed. The decision has been taken in view of the counting process of the Zilla Parishad Elections."
Earlier, Mumbai university notified students and staff that the exams, originally set for mid-January, have been rescheduled to February. The exams that were initially scheduled to be conducted on January 14 was postponed to February 4, 2026 due to the municipal elections. Now, it has been postponed again.

Considering the Mumbai University first merit list 2026, released for a few affiliated colleges, such as St. Xavier's College Mumbai, Sophia College for Women, Chetna College, etc., it is possible to get admission to the BA course with a cutoff percentage of 90.
As per this year's 2023 admission process, Candidates who have passed LL.B. or those who have appeared for the Final Semester Examinations of the 3 or 5-year LL.B. Programme from the University of Mumbai or any other recognised University are eligible to apply for the online LL.M. Common Entrance Examination 2023. Mumbai University LLM Admission is entirely based on LLM CET exam conducted by the University.
The timings of Mumbai University exam will remain the same as mentioned in original timetable. Heads of Departments and Principals are requested to inform students and concerned staff immediately and ensure that they are informed about this revision soon. All papers scheduled on the above dates will now be conducted on the revised dates.
