NIT Tiruchirappalli Admissions 2021 for MA English programme begin; Apply by May 15
The last date to submit the NIT Trichy applications online for MA English at https://admission.nitt.edu/ma2021/ is May 15.
NIT Trichy Admissions 2021: Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli-15 opened the admission application window for its MA English (Language and Literature) Programme for the academic year 2021-22. The last date to submit the applications online at https://admission.nitt.edu/ma2021/ is May 15.
NIT Trichy Admissions 2021: Eligibility Criteria
Applicant applying at NIT Trichy for MA in English programme must have a BA in English Literature/ELT/linguistics from any recognized university/college with First class (60% or above of aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA). SC/ST/PwD candidates need 55% or above (6.0 CGPA). Candidates appearing in the final year of the Bachelor's degree program are also eligible to apply. Provisional admission is permitted for such candidates, provided their final marks are made available on or before July 30 2021.
The applications will be accepted only after the payment of requisite registration fee before filling the application form. The registration fee is Rs. 500/- for OC/EWS/OBC and Rs.200/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates. The payment should be made only through State Bank Collect (SB Collect). Along with the application form, applicants are required to upload-
- All Mark Sheets (10th, HSC, UG)
- Transfer Certificate
- Degree/Provisional certificate (Course Completion/Bonafide certificate from the Head of the Institution where he/she last studied for result awaiting candidates)
- Community/EWS certificate (if applicable)
- PWD certificate (if applicable).
Applicant should send the softcopy (PDF) of their finally submitted application (without enclosures) to maenglishnitt@gmail.com with mail subject ‘MA Application 2021-2022 – UserID’
Shortlisting of the candidates will be based on their eligibility criteria. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for an interview. The selection of candidates will be based on an online personal interview conducted by a panel of members and competent authority. Shortlisted Candidates will be intimated through mail well before the date of the interview and the list of shortlisted candidates will also be available online.
