The placement process is easy, and jobs are plenty.
Placements: Plenty of placements are available at the college. Every student will get placed with at least the least package. But here, getting a higher package is what matters. All the students get placed, while some of them may go for higher studies. The highest package available was 54 LPA. The lowest package was 3 LPA, with an average package of 10–20 LPA. TCS, IBM, Google, Microsoft and other companies visit to recruit us.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in my college is excellent, with peaceful classrooms, well-equipped labs and a big library with all types of stuffed books. Food is of very good quality in both the canteen and hostel, and there is a separate block for sports like cricket and volleyball.
Faculty: The faculty are well experienced and have good knowledge about the course; they are knowledgeable and the teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum helps us not only to learn theoretically but also practically; they use good teaching methods.

A detailed review on NITT.
Placements: Almost 95 percent of students get placed in college with a decent package. The highest one would be around 60 LPA, varying least to 5 or 6 LPA. The average package will be around 16 LPA. Many big companies all over the country come to pick the students. Software, core, analytics, and management roles will be offered. Data analysts and developer roles are offered to software domain students.
Infrastructure: The food is okay since we can change the mess every month and almost every type of food is available in the college. Canteens are quite good and there are many to eat at different locations. Hostels are to be adjusted since there will be no maintenance taken care of daily. Sports and games are too good in the. Funds are allocated in that aspect. That will be used in a good way.
Faculty: The teachers are too qualified so we can learn a lot if we are interested. They also provide good jobs and internships in their respective fields. The course is based semester-wise so that no tight deadlines are made every time. It is according to the academic calendar. The semester exams are dependable on themselves; some will give a too-difficult paper and others might give a simple one. Most of the professors are strict about setting exam papers.
Other: Technical and cultural fests occur on campus. Both of them are large-scale, with huge budgets offered by different companies as sponsorships and some by college alumni. Scholarships are also provided to many of the economically backward students based on their skills in different aspects. Some professors should improve their communication skills beyond language.

It's a good college with minimum requirements.
Placements: The placements in the college are very good; there are jobs for core and non-core at the same time. Many different companies, like Amazon, Wipro, Infosys, and Microsoft, come to our campus and the placement cell makes sure of having good placements every year. Nearly 95% of placements happen every year and the highest package of our time was nearly INR 50 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostels are not that good and it's just average to stay but cheaper than other hostels outside to live in. The food was okay, but we needed to adjust as it was a hostel mess and all our sports games were good and the ground was neat. Medical treatment and a hospital are also nearby.
Faculty: The faculty are okay and need to do more self-learning as there is no spoon-feeding here. Seniors and all other students should be in touch so they can help you and teach and share knowledge.

Great placements and faculty, average hostel and mess conditions, and harsh weather conditions.
Placements: In my course, almost 80% of students got placed this year with an average package of 9 LPA. The highest package offered was 35 LPA and the lowest was 6 LPA. Top recruiters included Vedanta, BHEL, NPTL, HPCL, etc. Regarding internships, most students go for off-campus internships different sectors such as software, finance, management, consultancy, etc. A starting role is that of an executive engineer in companies like BHEL.
Infrastructure: Our department building has several laboratories and resources with updated facilities. Classes are well furnished, along with projectors and boards. There is a central library that contains over 100,000 books and journals. The hostel and mess facility are average, like any other government college. Same with sports facilities. Wi-fi is available at all times in hostels. Medical facilities are really good, with ambulances available at any time along with free checkups and medicine in the hostel hospital.
Faculty: Professors are really qualified, with almost all of them having at least one degree from an IIT. The course curriculum is very easy and hilly compared to other branches. We also have frequent industry visits so that we can get a real-world experience of the real world. Semester exams are moderate to difficult, with a pass percentage of 35%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to explore different domains in college and therefore wanted a course that gave me sufficient time apart from academics. Scholarships are based on annual family income. Our annual cultural fest is called Festember. The annual inter-departmental fest is NITTFEST. The annual technical fest is Pragyan.

Great placements, good peer group, harsh weather conditions and average hostel and mess conditions.

Infrastructure: We have a separate department for our batch and there are many labs and resources with updated facilities. Professors are also very supportive regarding research in any domain. The quality of the hostel and mess are average, like any other government college, but the medical facilities are really good. You can get access to an ambulance any time and get a get a free checkup and medicine from the college hospital. Regarding sports, facilities for some sports are good, like basketball and cricket, while others, like football and hockey, are still under development. Also, you can get Wi-Fi in the hostel at all times.
Faculty: The professors are highly qualified; most of them have a degree from an IIT. The curriculum of my branch is the easiest of all and really chill. We also have frequent industry visits to get real-life experience of how things work. The semester exams are of moderate level, depending on the professor too. But it's really easy to pass any course with just 35% of the of the marks required.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to explore different domains in college and thus wanted a course that was least hectic. And that's the best thing: you can get yourself involved in a lot of stuff and get to experience every bit of college life. Scholarships here are based on annual family income. We have the annual cultural fest called Festember, the annual inter-departmental fest called NITTFEST, and the technical fest called Pragyan.
