SPPU Exams 2021: MA Economics end-semester exams schedule released; exams to be held online

The MA Economics end-semester exams will be held in two slots, the first from 11 am to 2 pm and the second between 3 pm and 6 pm. Read further to know more.

The Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) also known as Pune University has released the SPPU Exams 2021 schedule for MA Economics end-semester exam. Owing to the surge in coronavirus cases in the country, the university will be conducting the end-semester exam in online mode. The university has released the end-semester time-table for the regular, backlog and class improvement examinations.
The MA Economics end-semester exams will be held in two slots, the first from 11 am to 2 pm and the second between 3 pm and 6 pm. The university will start the MA end-semester exam on May 3 with Macro Economics 2 and Micro Economics 2 or Micro Economics Analysis 2 paper for the old syllabus students.

The exams will continue till May 12. The examination will be conducted on Moodle. Students will get one hour to attempt and submit their answers within the indicated time slots, read an SPPU statement.

Meanwhile, the SPPU has informed that its examination department has caught a total of 150 students cheating while appearing for the online first-semester exams. As a follow-up action, these students have now been told to appear before the SPPU’s grievances redressal committee. It’s a message SPPU wants to send that the university is vigilant against cheating despite the exams attempted remotely via the internet.

SPPU is conducting the first-semester examination online for students from first to last year of all courses from April 10. As per the reports, over 10 lakh students appear for the SPPU Exam 2021 online.
