MP College Reopening: Guidelines

Students and parents can check the guidelines released by the government below to attend the offline classes:

  • Practical and academic work can start in these educational institutions by forming separate groups, in case there are a larger number of students. This must be done on the basis of safety protocols
  • Institutions must take decisions on several things on their own, depending on the infrastructure and availability of space. However, this must be done to ensure that COVID-19 safety protocols are followed
  • Online classes will continue as attendance has not been made mandatory for offline classes. For this, institutions have to prepare separate timetables to cater to online and offline teaching
  • Since libraries will also reopen, it is mandatory for these places to make sure that thermal screening is done. For those using the library, their hands must be sanitised and the library should be filled only up to 50 per cent capacity at a given time.
  • Parents' consent and filling of a self-declaration form are mandatory before getting admission to the hostel.
  • For the reopening of hostels, in the first phase, these residential places will be allowed to reopen only for students who are in their final year of graduation and third year of postgraduation.
  • In the dining room of the hostel, food will be provided to the students in small batches. To execute this, timetables have to be made for mess.
  • In case someone shows symptoms, they must be immediately shifted to the isolation facility in the hostel.
