NID B.Des Mains Result 2026
The National Institute of Design will declare the result for NID 2026 B.Des Mains exam in the coming days. It is expected to be out anytime now. The result will be released on the website of the NID for the candidates who appeared for the NID B.Des Mains Exam: NID Studio Sensitivity Test and NID In-Person Sensitivity Test. The test was conducted on April 19, 2026 and April 26, 2026 for the shortlisted candidates who have cleared the NID Prelims Exam.
The result will be available at admissions.nid.edu and Email Adress and Date of Birth are required to check the result. Last year, NID scorecard was out on May 16, 2025 and the rechecking window was open from May 16, 2025. This year, NID B.Des 2026 Final Result is expected to be a bit earlier.

NID 2026 Tie break Rules
In case the total marks scored by two or more candidates are the same, the following tie-break policy will be used for awarding ranks in the final merit list.
- Higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in TEST I: Studio Sensitivity
- If the tie still persists, higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Studio Sensitivity Test Question 3
- If the tie continues, higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Studio Sensitivity Test Question 1
- If the tie is still not resolved, the same rank will be allotted to candidates.
