After launching National Credit Framework, NCrF 2022 for higher education on October 19, now the Union Minister of Education and Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan has launched the National Curriculum Framework for the 3-8 years age group.
Union Minister of Education and Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan has launched the National Curriculum Framework for foundational stage education for children in the three to eight years age group.
As per this framework, early childhood care and education are key areas of development.
“The most important aspect of the NEP has been the development of the national curriculum for school education because it is futuristic. Preparing the curriculum for the three to eight age group has been the most critical and challenging task because experts and scientists have proved that 85 per cent of brain development happens by the age of seven or eight,” Pradhan said, as reported by Tribune India.
“I am optimistic that the NCERT by next Basant Panchami will bring out syllabus and textbooks and other necessary methodologies,” he added.
