DoE Haryana extends deadline for admission to Model Sanskriti Schools

The Directorate of Education (DoE) has announced that it has extended the last date for admission to the Model Sanskriti Schools. Candidates can now apply for admission to the Haryana Model Sanskriti Schools until May 10, 2022. Candidates and parents who have not applied until now can complete the admission process as now the additional time has been provided.

The Directorate of Information, Haryana has made the announcement on the Twitter handle. The notice stated that “The education department has extended the time period for admission in the Model Sanskriti Schools. Now admission will be done in these schools till May 10. The department has taken this decision in view of the number of applications for admission to schools. #Haryana #DIPRHaryana”

It must be noted that the DoE has extended the last date to submit the application form for admission to the Model Sanskriti Schools because of the increasing number of submissions of application forms for the Primary and Secondary levels. For more details related to admission to Model Sanskriti Schools, one can visit the official website- schooleducationharyana.gov.in.

Meanwhile, the Haryana government has begun the e-Adhigam scheme for Class 10 and Class 12 students. Under this scheme, Class 10 and 12 students of nearly 5 lakh government schools were given tablets. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar distributed the tablets to the government school students.

“Earlier, schoolchildren had to carry books in their bags, but now, their books will be in this tab. The e-Adhigam drive has been launched in accordance with the new education policy which envisages the provision of education through technology in the wake of the Covid pandemic,” said Khattar.
