COAP 2026: IIT Kanpur MTech Registrations through GATE Ongoing, Last Date to Apply is April 13

IIT Kanpur GATE MTech registrations for COAP 2026 are ongoing. The last date to submit the form is April 13 (2:00 PM). Candidates who submit IIT Kanpur GATE MTech application form will be able to participate in COAP 2026 counselling. Registrations for the Common Offer Acceptance Portal will begin on March 27. IIT Kanpur GATE MTech Admission for COAP 2026 Counselling

IIT Kanpur MTech application form for COAP counselling 2026 is ongoing. Candidates who have qualified GATE exam held on Feb 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026 can apply. IIT Guwahati announced GATE 2026 result on March 19. Candidates can check their result at GOAPS using enrollment ID and password. The last date to apply for IIT Kanpur GATE 2026 MTech registration is April 13 (2:00 pm). The official website to apply is iitk.ac.in.

COAP 2026: IIT Kanpur GATE MTech Admission Instructions

Candidates must take a note of the following while filling IIT Kanpur GATE application form 2026-

• Candidates must fill form using laptop/desktop only.
• EWS candidates must upload relevant document. 
• The application fee is INR 500 for the General, EWS, OBC-NCL, and OBC categories, and INR 250 for SC/ST and DAP candidates, and is non-refundable.
• OBC Non-Creamy Layer must select their category as “OBC-NCL”
• Candidates must fill a separate application form for each programme or department. 

Lastly, candidates must enter their GATE registration, score and other details carefully. Once updated, it cannot be changed. 

COAP 2026 Registration Start Date

Registrations for COAP 2026 will begin from March 27. Candidates who want to apply for IIT Kanpur must first register at COAP before applying at IIT Kanpur website. COAP 2026 counselling dates have been released, and the round 1 will begin from May 11. IIT Guwahati will issue GATE scorecard 2026 on March 27. The scorecard will remain valid for three years, and will be available for download till May 31 for free.
