Candidates with a Polytechnic diploma cannot apply for GATE 2027 directly. The minimum educational qualification requirement is a bachelor's degree: either in third year/final year or already graduated in the relevant discipline. • Go to official website - www.digilocker.gov.in
• Now, click on "Login/Register." If you are signing up through the mobile app, then you can scan the QR code and access the feature
• Enter full name (as mentioned in Aadhar Card), Date of Birth, and Gender
• Enter mobile number (the one linked with Aadhar)
• Create a 6-digit security pin for DigiLocker login
• Enter email ID and set a unique password and username
• Submit details and enter OTP sent to your registered number
• Link Aadhar and complete Aadhar OTP verification to unlock all the features

The eligible two-paper combinations for GATE CSE paper are: DA, EC, GE, MA, ME, PH, RA, ST. Candidates can opt for two papers at the time of GATE registration 2027.

There is no age or attempt limit for GATE 2027 exam. However, candidates must be currently in third year or higher studies or must have completed their bachelor’s degree (of duration at least three years) in Engineering/Technology/Science/Commerce/Arts/Humanities can also apply. Candidates who are pursuing any higher degree or have obtained a degree higher than the acceptable degree are eligible to appear for GATE 2027.
