What is HITSEEE?

HITSEEE is conducted for admission to the Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science. It is an online examination conducted every year to admit students seeking admission to BTech programmes. The admission is based on merit, considering entrance examination marks along with Class 12 marks. A total of 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) are asked in the exam. There are a total of three sections, namely Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, comprising 40 questions each. The exam is conducted for 1 hour (60 minutes) only.

For PhD admission, the university accepts admission through UGC NET/ GATE valid score.

BTech

Pass in Class 12 or equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as main subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology Technical Vocational subjects

Scored a minimum 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together

Minimum 60% Mathematics marks

Vocational Stream

Candidates who have passed in HSC (vocational stream) with engineering / technical vocational subjects and any one or two of the related subjects like Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry are also eligible

 

They must have obtained 50% aggregate in the vocational & related subjects.

BArch

Pass in Class 12 or equivalent exam with an average not less than 60% with Mathematics / Business Mathematics as one of the subjects

Pass in Diploma (3 years) with Mathematics / Business Mathematics as a subject

 

Scored a minimum 50% aggregate from a recognised central / state government institute

All candidates must appear in the Aptitude test conducted by the Council of Architecture (NATA), and the score should not be less than 80 out of 200

BTech (Lateral Entry)

Passed BSc in Science of minimum 3 years duration with minimum 50% aggregate, and studied Mathematics in Class 12 or studied Mathematics as a core or ancillary subject at the BSc level alone, are eligible for admission

Academic Stream:  An average of 50 per cent in Class 12/HSC/Intermediate or any equivalent examination with Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects and at least one of Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science / Information Technology / Informatics Practices / Engineering Graphics as major subjects in regular stream from any board.
