The eligibility criteria for admission to the BTech programme is mentiond below:

Academic Stream:  An average of 50 per cent in Class 12/HSC/Intermediate or any equivalent examination with Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects and at least one of Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science / Information Technology / Informatics Practices / Engineering Graphics as major subjects in regular stream from any board.

Vocational Stream: An average of 50 per cent marks in the related subjects and vocational subjects (Theory and Practical).
B.Tech (Bio-Technology) : A Minimum Average of 50 percent in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.

Yes, Hindustan University conducts two entrance exams at the university level, i.e., HITSEEE and HITSCAT for all the UG and PG courses. The HITSEEE exam is popularly conducted for BTech admission and it is conducted in two phases. The HITSCAT exam is mandatory for the rest of the UG and PG courses. For PhD admission, the university accepts admission through UGC NET/ GATE valid score.

HITSEEE is conducted for admission to BTech, BArch and BDes programme. It is an online entrance examination that is conducted every year in various cities across India. Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate programmes need to register online to appear for the entrance amination. The counselling call letter will be released a few days before commencement of counselling. The counselling call letter is important document for HITSEEE counselling. The candidates must make sure they take print of the call letter before attending the counselling. 

Multiple-choice questions will be asked in HITSEEE exam to check students' proficiency in fundamental subjects, including Maths, Physics, Chemistry, English, General Knowledge. The top scorers at national level will get a merit-based scholarship to do their graduate studies at HITS.
