IIT Jodhpur Admission: Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur has announced new four-year Bachelor of Science (BS) programme in Mathematics and Computing from academic session 2026-27. IIT Jodhpur BS in Mathematics and Computing programme will prepare students for careers in technology, data science, artificial intelligence and research. Admission to this new programme will be conducted through JEE Advanced 2026 as part of regular IIT admission process. IIT Jodhpur has kept intake limited to 40 seats.
Focus on Mathematics and Computing Skills
IIT Jodhpur's curriculum provides students with expertise in both mathematics and computing. During this four-year programme, students will study subjects such as pure and applied mathematics, algorithms, programming, data analytics, machine learning and computational modelling.
According to IIT Jodhpur, graduates of this programme will be prepared for careers in artificial intelligence, data science, finance, technology, scientific research, cryptography and quantitative modelling. IIT Jodhpur said growing demand for professionals with expertise in both mathematics and computing has led to introduction of this interdisciplinary programme.

The JEE Advanced 2026 cutoff will be released with the results of JEE Advanced 2026. Until then, candidates can check below the JEE Advanced cutoff from the previous years:
The JEE Advanced 2025 cutoff of the common rank list is 20.56%; 18.50% for the GEN-EWS rank list and OBC-NCL rank list; 10.28% for SC, ST, and PwD rank lists across all categories; and 5.14% for Preparatory course rank lists.
All those candidates who score above the cutoff marks in their respective categories can register for JoSAA counselling to participate in the IIT seat allotment process. Note that qualifying the JEE Advaced cutoff will not guarantee a seat in the IITs. Various factors are at play while allotting seats in the IITs. These factors include the demand for a course and IIT, the number of seats on offer, the reservation criteria, etc.
No, there will be no spot round of seat allocation at any of the IITs after the completion of the last round of JoSAA seat allocation.
