IIT Kanpur online MTech: Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur has introduced four online new MTech programmes for 2026 academic session. According to institute, new courses have been introduced under second cycle of its online postgraduate admissions through Office of Outreach Activities. Admissions for IIT Kanpur online MTech programmes are currently open.

IIT Kanpur Online MTech Programmes for working professionals and graduates
According to institute, all four programmes will be conducted in fully online mode and have received approval from IIT Kanpur Senate. MTech courses can be completed within a duration of two to four years. These four online MTech programmes have flexible structure for both working professionals and fresh graduates. This will allow candidates to pursue postgraduate education alongside professional commitments.

Indian Institute of Technology will release GATE cutoff 2026 soon. The IITG GATE 2026 result has been declared. The conducting body releases the exam result and cutoff for all 30 subjects. The cutoff for GATE 2026 will be available category-wise. Candidates securing the minimum cutoff will be eligible to participate in counselling.

The cutoff is the minimum mark that is required for all candidates to qualify for the exam. IIT Guwahati announced GATE result 2026 on March 19.
According to institute, candidates with valid GATE scores meeting department-specific cut-offs may be exempted from entrance exam. Those who have at least five years of relevant professional experience may also be considered for exemption.
