IIT Kanpur Opens JoSAA 2026 Counselling Helpdesk

JoSAA Counselling: Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur has launched official JoSAA counselling helpdesk 2026 to help JEE Advanced qualified candidates during admission process. This has been started by institute's Academics and Career Council (AnC) to help students make informed choices while filling their college and branch preferences. JoSAA 2026 registration and choice filling link will remain open until June 11. JoSAA counselling is being conducted for admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs and other participating institutes across the country.

JoSAA Helpdesk through official WhatsApp community

JoSAA helpdesk became active on June 2, soon after declaration of JEE Advanced 2026 results. It will be available through WhatsApp community where students can interact directly with verified IIT Kanpur student mentors from different departments. Through JoSAA helpdesk, students can get guidance on branch selection, JoSAA choice filling, academics, curriculum flexibility, placements, internships, research opportunities, campus life, hostel facilities, student clubs, and higher studies options.

IIT Kanpur Open House

Apart from the helpdesk, IIT Kanpur will also host an online JoSAA Open House on June 9 at 10 am for JEE Advanced 2026 qualifiers and their parents. The session will have institute's Director, Deans, faculty members and students, who will answer questions related to academics, research, placements, campus life and counselling process.
