IIT Madras Demo Day 2026: With JEE Advanced 2026 now over and counselling season approaching,Β  Indian Institute of Technology Madras will organise Demo Day 2026 on June 6 and 7 to help students make informed choices about IITs and academic programmes. This initiative offers JEE Advanced qualifiers and their parents opportunity to experience campus life and interact directly with faculty members, students, alumni and institute leadership.

Opportunity to Experience IIT Madras First-Hand

This one-day on-campus programme will give students a closer look at academics, innovation activities, student life, campus culture and career opportunities at IIT Madras before they participate in Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling. Participants can explore academic departments, interact with students and alumni, and understand undergraduate programmes.

What Participants Can Expect at IIT Madras Demo Day 2026?

During IITM Demo Day, students and parents willΒ 

  • Exploration of academic departments and programmes

  • Visits to Centre for Innovation (CFI)

  • Guided tours of IIT Madras campus and Heritage Centre

  • Interactions with current students and alumni

  • Live question-and-answer session with IIT Madras Director, Padma Shri Prof. V. Kamakoti

This programme will also include department presentations, discussions on academics and placements, innovation showcases and informal interactions with IIT Madras community.

The conducting IIT sometimes send the JEE Advanced result on the email of parents and candidates are provided while registering for the exam. However, in certain year the result is not sent via email. Hence, candidates whould not wait for the JEE Advanced result on their email and check it from the official website - jeeadv.ac.in as soon as the result is out.

Q: Β  When will the JoSAA announce the seat allocation results for Rounds 1, 2, 3, and 4?

JoSAA 2026 counselling for JEE Main and JEE Advanced qualifiers will begin in June 2026. The entire schedule of JoSAA counselling 2026 will be uploaded on josaa.nic.in.

The JEE Advanced 2026 result can be checked using the steps below:

  1. Visit the official website of JEE Advanced 2026 - jeeadv.ac.in.
  2. Check for the JEE Advanced result link.
  3. Now enter the login details asked like the JEE Advanced or Main application number / password or date of birth.
  4. On successful login, the JEE Advanced 2026 result will appear on the screen.
  5. Save the result and keep it with you for any future references.

IIT Madras has announced that seats for programme are limited and will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is open through AskIITM platform. JEE Advanced qualifiers are required to submit their details while registering for this event.

More Than 5,000 Students Have Attended Since 2022

IIT Madras said that over 5,000 students and parents have participated in Demo Day events since 2022. This initiative has helped aspirants gain clarity about courses, campus life and career prospects before finalising their choices during JoSAA counselling.
