IIT Madras PG Diploma in Manufacturing Analytics

IIT Madras PG Diploma: Indian Institute of Technology Madras has launched new Postgraduate Diploma in Manufacturing Analytics to equip learners with advanced skills in data analytics, Artificial Intelligence and digital transformation. This one year programme will be offered by Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. 

According to IIT Madras, first batch of the programme will commence on September 7, 2026. Interested candidates can apply online through official website before May 31, 2026. This programme has been introduced to meet increasing demand for professionals who can apply AI and analytics in manufacturing operations, productivity improvement and strategic decision-making.

IIT Madras Director Prof. V. Kamakoti said India’s manufacturing sector is adopting digital technologies, creating a need for professionals with both academic knowledge and industry relevant skills. 

Eligibility for IIT Madras PG Diploma in Manufacturing Analytics?

Candidates with three-year or four-year undergraduate degrees in relevant disciplines, including BSc Computer Science and Computer Applications, can apply subject to IIT Madras admission requirements. This is for professionals working in large-scale and medium-scale manufacturing organisations, along with graduates interested in manufacturing analytics.
