JEE Main 2020 application correction window to open today

The NTA to made available the JEE Main application correction window from today i.e. May 25. Read below to know more.

JEE Main 2020 application correction window for the second exam will be made available by the National Testing Agency (NTA) today i.e. May 25. The last day to made changes in the JEE Main 2020 application form is May 31.

During the JEE Main application correction window 2020, candidates will be able to change their exam centres/cities and other particulars in the application form during the aforesaid period. To make changes in the application form of JEE Main, candidates need to log in to the exam’s official portal i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in. Earlier, the exam conducting authority of JEE Main 2020, the NTA has made available a detailed notification on the official website regarding the application form correction. This decision has been taken in view of demand from various candidates regarding correction in candidates' particulars and choice of centre cities in the online application form for JEE Main 2020 due to constraints faced by them due to COVID-19 lockdown.

As per the notification, candidates must keep in mind that the NTA will make all efforts to allot the JEE Main 2020 exam centre chosen by the candidates in their application form. However, the candidates may be assigned an exam centre in the city other than their choices and the decision of the NTA regarding allotment of the centre/city shall be final.

The availability of application correction window was announced immediately following the restarting of the JEE Main 2020 application process. On May 19, 2020, the Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced that the NTA will again make available the JEE Main 2020 application form till May 24, 2020.
