JEE Main Day 2 Exam Analysis 2025: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 Session 2 continued on April 3 with the second shift held from 3 to 6 PM. As per initial student feedback, the JEE Main 2025 April 3 shift 2 exam, the overall paper was Moderate to Tough. Maths was moderate, Physics was moderate, and Chemistry was moderate to tough. The JEE Main 2025 Paper 1 for BTech/BE had 75 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with a total of 300 marks. The JEE Main session 2 is being held on April 4, 7, 8 and 9. On April 9, the exam will be conducted for JEE Main 2025 paper 2a (BArch) and paper 2b (BPlanning).

Candidates can check the JEE Main shift 2 day 2 subject-wise difficulty level here:

  • Mathematics: The JEE Main April 3 Shift 2 Mathematics section was considered moderate but notably lengthy. Questions were asked from across various topics, including Matrices, 3D Geometry, Vectors, Conic Sections, and Calculus. The lengthiness of the problems required candidates to manage their time effectively.
  • Physics: JEE Main shift 2 Physics was moderately challenging. The questions were a balanced mix of theoretical concepts and numerical problems. Some of the topics included Mechanics, Electromagnetism, and Optics. The section tested both conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills.
  • Chemistry: This section ranged from easy to moderate in difficulty. It had direct questions from Organic, Inorganic, and Physical Chemistry, primarily based on NCERT material. Organic Chemistry questions were based on reaction mechanisms, while Inorganic Chemistry included topics like coordination compounds and periodic trends.
