The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the upcoming schedule for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 activities. As per the official update, candidates can expect the release of question papers, answer key, and results on April 9, 11 and 20, respectively. The JEE Mains 2026 session 2 exam was held on April 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.

JEE Main 2026 Answer Key Releasing on April 11; NTA Announces Response Sheet and Result Dates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the upcoming schedule for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 activities. As per the official update, candidates can expect the release of question papers, answer key, and results on April 9, 11 and 20, respectively. The JEE Mains 2026 session 2 exam was held on April 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. Around 11.23 lakh candidates have appeared for the session 2 exams.

JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Answer Key, Response Sheet and Result Date

  • April 9, 2026: Question papers for all shifts will be released
  • April 11, 2026 (Tentative): Provisional answer key and response sheets will be available
  • April 20, 2026 (Tentative): Result declaration for Paper 1

Candidates will be able to download the question papers and answer key from the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in.

NTA JEE Mains Session 2 Answer Key and Challenge Process

The provisional answer key of JEE Main 2026 Session 2 will be released along with the candidate response sheets. Candidates can check their responses and calculate their probable scores.

NTA will also open the answer key challenge window. Candidates who are not satisfied with any answer can raise objections by paying a fee of INR 200 per question. The fee is non-refundable. After reviewing the challenges, NTA will release the final answer key. The result will be prepared based on the final answer key.

JEE Main 2026 Result Details

The result for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 is expected to be declared on April 20, 2026. The score will be calculated using the normalisation process. For candidates who appeared in both sessions, the best score out of the two sessions will be considered for ranking. The result will include percentile score, All India Rank, and qualifying status for JEE Advanced.
