The National Testing Agency is expected to release the JEE Main application form 2026 this week. The demo registration link has been activated for the JEE Main 2026 application form on the NTA official portal. As per past year trends, the application form is released within 1-2 days of the demo link activation. Once the actual application link is activated, candidates can fill the NTA JEE Mains 2026 form.

The exact JEE Main 2026 registration date has not been notified by the NTA but, as per details available on the official website, the application form will be released in October. JEE Main official website to fill the application form is jeemain.nta.nic.in. The detailed JEE Main notification mentioning information/guidelines on how to fill the form, application fees and documents required to apply will also be released once the registration starts.

As per media reports, the JEE Main 2026 application process is likely to witness some changes. It is expected that candidates will not be required to fill exam city preference this year, instead exam city will be allotted to him/her based on their current address provided in the form. Also, it is likely that basic candidate details like name, gender, parents name and address will be pre-filled basis the Aadhaar number of the candidate.

JEE Main 2026 exam will be conducted in two sessions – January and April. Candidates can appear in one or both sessions. NTA will release separate application forms for both sessions.
