JEE Main 2026 Registration Over for Session 1; What's Next?

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has concluded the JEE Main 2026 registration for January session exam. The last date for JEE Main 2026 session 1 application form was November 27, 2025. Media reports claim that around 14.3 lakh candidates have registered for the exam. 

The next event in the timeline is JEE Main 2026 form correction for session 1, which will be held from December 1 to 2, 2025. All those who made errors in the JEE Mains application form can use this facility to make edits to their forms. The JEE Main form correction is a one-time use facility and candidates can make edits to a select few fields only. The authorities have released the list of editable fields online at jeemain.nta.nic.in

Students who do not require form correction should wait for the JEE Mains city intimation slip, which will be available in the first week of January 2026. Candidates will get an idea of the allotted exam city and their JEE Main 2026 exam date and shift timings. The authority will release the complete exam centre address with the JEE Main admit card 2026.

JEE Main 2026 Exam Date Session 1
