JEE Main Shift 2 Paper Review: JEE Main 2026 January 21 shift 2 exam, conducted by National Testing Agency from 3 to 6 PM, has concluded. Candidates who appeared for second shift have shared their reactions on JEE Main 2026 difficulty level, question trends and topics asked. In shift 2 of the January 21 exam, Physics was moderate and formula-based. Chemistry was Doable and it was moderately easy. Mathematics Hard & Lengthy and is perceived as the most challenging section; it heavily features Calculus and Vectors.

JEE Main exam for BE/BTech Paper 1 has three sections Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, consisting of 75 MCQs carrying 300 marks. Talking about shift 1, JEE Main 2026 exam was moderate to tough. Physics and Maths were tough, whereas Chemistry was easy.

JEE Main 2026 Shift 2 Student Reactions & Feedback

Students exiting the exam centres shared mixed reactions. Many of them said the JEE Main Day 1 shift 2 paper followed expected patterns, with many questions similar to previous years’ trends. Some students appreciated that chemistry was straightforward and had questions from NCERT textbook.
