KEA DCET 2025: Karnataka Examinations Authority is conducting KEA DCET 2025 document verification from today: June 10. The document verification for candidates who have secured a DCET rank will be conducted till June 13, 2025, at government and aided polytechnic colleges for direct admission into the third semester (second year) of engineering courses and for eligibility to the first year of architecture courses.

KEA has also released the list of 37 designated colleges where the DCET document verification process for eligible candidates will be conducted. They are required to visit any one of these colleges in person for the verification procedure. However, before appearing for DCET 2025 document verification, it is mandatory to schedule an appointment date in advance through the official KEA portal.

DCET 2025 Document Verification

Candidates are required to carry all original educational documents that support the information provided during the application process. These may include marksheets, certificates, and other relevant academic records.

  • It is mandatory to present original documents; photocopies or scanned copies will not be accepted for verification purposes.
  • In addition to academic documents, candidates who have claimed eligibility under any special category must also carry the corresponding original certificates. These categories include:
    • NCC (National Cadet Corps)
    • Sports quota
    • Children of Defense Personnel
    • Ex-servicemen
    • CAPF (Central Armed Police Forces) personnel
    • Children of Ex-CAPF personnel
  • Important: Special category certificates are to be submitted only if the candidate has claimed reservation or benefits under these categories while filling the application form.
  • Failure to produce any of the required original documents or certificates at the time of document verification may lead to disqualification from the admission process or denial of category-based benefits.
