TNEA Certificate Verification: The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) started the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission 2025 certificate verification process today, June 10 2025 at TFCs. The last date for TNEA certificate verification 2025 is June 20. Candidates are advised to regularly monitor their TNEA Certificate Verification (CV) status online and promptly respond to any queries, particularly if contacted by the TFC on their registered mobile number
Further, they will be allotted a TNEA 2025 random number tomorrow on June 11. Also, the TNEA 2025 rank list will be released on June 27. In Tamil Nadu, admission to BE/BTech, BE (Sandwich), and Integrated MTech CSE courses is based on Class 12 marks through the TNEA single window system conducted by DoTE for government and affiliated institutions.
TNEA 2025 Certificate Verification
During TNEA certificate verification, all the certificates will be verified online at TFCs, with in-person verification in Chennai for sportspersons. Only candidates with successfully verified certificates will be included in the TNEA 2025 merit list, which will be prepared based on merit. TNEA Facilitation Centres (TFCs) across the state will also handle document verification and seat allotment during counselling.
TNEA Random Numbers 2025 to be Assigned Tomorrow
The TNEA random number is a 10-digit number assigned randomly to each registered candidate. All applicants will be assigned a 10-digit TNEA 2025 random number, which serves as the final tie-breaker for determining ranks in the merit list. If all other tie-breaking criteria fail, the candidate with the higher random number will be given preference. They can access their TNEA random number by logging in with their registration number and date of birth.

TNEA 2025 notification released on May 2025. TNEA stands for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions. The Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu conducts TNEA every year. It is an online counselling window. All Indian National candidates who wish to take admission to Government and Government Aided Engineering Colleges, University Departments and Constituent Colleges of Anna University, Annamalai University and for the seats surrendered by Self-Financing Engineering Colleges in Tamil Nadu have to apply for TNEA counselling.
TNEA counselling is a Unified Single Window Admission System for Indian Nationals only. The courses offered via this online counselling are BE/BTech and BE (sandwich) courses. TNEA counselling is conducted online in 4 rounds as per the Schedule. Candidates need to participate in corresponding rounds based on their rank.
TNEA 2025 Random Number will be out in June 2025. Registered candidates have to sign in by entering login Id/email Id and password to view their unique random number allotted by the authority. The conducting body also informs all the registered candidates about the assigned random number of TNEA 2025 through SMS. The random number will be a 10 digit number that will be allotted to the candidates randomly. Candidates have to verify their documents at TFCs as per their assigned TNEA random number.

- On the login page, enter your email ID/login ID, password, and captcha code
- The TNEA random number will be displayed on the screen
- View your random number and save it for future references.

The TNEA 2025 document verification at the TFC will be held in June. The uploaded certificates are subjected to verification at the TFCs selected by the candidates in the online application form. The Certificate uploading and verification procedure is intimated after the completion of the registration process. While verifying the documents uploaded during TNEA 2025 registration, candidates have to follow the following steps:
If the status shown is Incomplete, candidates have to scan all the required certificates as a single pdf file and upload it.
After uploading they must freeze the upload and logout.
If the status shown is 'upload not completed and Upload status as Not started', scan all the certificates as a single pdf file and upload.
After uploading freeze the upload and logout.
If the status shown is 'In Progress', it indicates that Certificate verification is under process.
If the status shown is 'Completed successfully', then it indicates that Certificate verification is completed successfully for that Application.
