MHT CET 2026 Application Fee Increased; CET Cell Hikes Fee by INR 300 for General Category

This year, the Maharashtra state CET cell has increased the MHT CET application fee. Last year, to apply for MHT CET, general category candidates paid INR 1000 to apply for one group and INR 2000 if they had to apply for both PCM and PCB groups. Revised MHT CET 2026 Application Fee

MHT CET application fee has been raised this year by INR 300 for the general category and INR 200 for the reserved category candidates when applying for any one group (PCM or PCB). This year, the general category candidates have to pay INR 1300 to apply for any one group out of PCM and PCB. The same for reserved category candidates is 1000. To apply for both groups, the general category candidates have to pay INR 2600, and the reserved category candidates have to pay INR 2000.

CET Cell has commenced the online MHT CET registration process today, January 10, at cetcell.mahacet.org. The last date to apply is February 12.

MHT CET Registration Fee Hike: Check Category-Wise Revised Fees

The increase in MHT CET application fee is the outcome of the CET cell's decision to hold the exam twice a year from this year. MHT CET 2026 session 1 exam will be held from April 11 to 19 for PCM and from April 21 to 26 for PCB. The session 2 exams will be held from May 14 to 17 for PCM and from May 10 to 11 for PCB.

Only after the payment of the MHT CET application fee, the application process becomes successful. After payment of the fee, a confirmation page is generated. Candidates must print it for future reference.
