For the first 90 minutes, Physics and Chemistry will be enabled and only after completion of the first 90 minutes, Physics and Chemistry will be auto-submitted, and the Mathematics group will be enabled with 90 minutes duration.
• For PCB - This paper has 2 Groups of Physics-Chemistry and Biology, with a total of 180 minutes. First 90 minutes, Physics and Chemistry will be enabled and only after completion of the time response for Physics, Chemistry will be auto-submitted, and the Biology group will be enabled with 90 minutes duration

The MHT CET 2026 exam will be conducted in online mode (computer-based test). The exam is held for admission to undergraduate engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture courses in Maharashtra colleges.

Students must upload scanned copies of their photograph and signature in the required format while submitting the MHT CET application form 2026. If the images are unclear or do not meet the size guidelines, the application form will be rejected.

The CET Cell has extended the MHT CET 2026 registration to February 24, 2026. However, applicants can apply till February 27, by paying a late fee of Rs 500.

In the PCB group, 3,61,891 students have registered in total. 2,64,019 candidates applied for the first attempt, and 97,872 chose the second attempt. 

For the PCM group, a total of 7,32,268 students have registered. Out of this, 4,52,931 candidates applied for the first attempt, while 2,79,337 registered for the second attempt. 

This year, the CET Cell has recorded the highest ever registration for MHT CET 2026 at 10,94,159 applicants over both PCM and PCB groups.

While filling the MHT CET application form, the photo should capture the full face, front view, with eyes open. The head should be in the centre of the frame. There should be no distracting shadows on the face or background. Make sure the photo presents the full head from the top of the hair to the bottom of the chin.

An incomplete MHT CET application form will be rejected. The CET Cell will also not accept the MHT CET 2026 application form sent by post/courier. Thus candidates must apply online at cetcell.mahacet.org.

On successful payment of the MHT CET application fee, a confirmation of the same will be displayed online. Candidates must print the receipt for future reference.

• Ask the school authorities for the provisional APAAR number.
• Log in to the registration page of Digilocker to verify your provisional APAAR.
• In the case of all minors (school students below 18 years of age), parental consent is required. Parents have to provide their Aadhaar details for verification and open a Digilocker with their Aadhaar ID or registered Mobile number.
• Post authentication, the APAAR ID Card is generated. Now you can download the APAAR ID Card.

MHT CET 2026 registration will remain open from February 25 to 27, 2026, with a late fee of Rs 500. Candidates who do not wish to pay the additional amount must complete the registration by February 24.

APAAR ID is a 12-digit unique number that is available for all students of India. APAAR stands for Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry. Candidates who are filling the MHT CET application form have to use APAAR ID or Aadhaar for authentication.

Declaration of MHT CET 2026 result for the two sessions will be done as follow:

• The first and second attempts of MHT CET 2026 will be conducted in multiple shifts.
• Percentile scores will be calculated based on the raw (actual) marks obtained by each candidate.
• Percentile scores for candidates who appeared only in the first attempt and candidates who appeared in both attempts will be declared on the State CET Cell website.
• If a candidate appears for both attempts, the best of the two percentile scores (Total score only) will be considered for admission.

The syllabus for MHT CET PCM (BE/BTech) and PCB (BPharma) is different. MHT CET PCM exam is conducted for admission to BE/BTech while the PCB exam is conducted for BPharma courses.  MHT CET PCM syllabus consists of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
