NTA Announces JEE Main 2026 Registration Last Date Will Not Be Extended
Amid speculations of extensions, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced its final decision on the JEE Main 2026 session registration last date. The authority has updated the JEE Main website at jeemain.nta.nic.in reaffirming the final date as November 27, 2025. Candidates who have yet to complete their application forms can do so by 9 PM today. The fee payment for the JEE Main 2026 application form can be made by 11:50 PM.
This decision by NTA remains consistent with its previous year trends and highlights the agency's stand on staying with the JEE Main schedule, ensuring timely events ahead. Although it was expected that the authorities may extend the JEE Main 2026 session 1 registration last date as offered in other exams conducted by NTA, and given that there is a slight gap between the registration and form correction period. How to Fill JEE Main 2026 Application Form?
- Visit the website, jeemain.nta.nic.in
- Click on the 'JEE Main 2026 Registration Link'
- Click on the new candidate registration button
- Complete the basic registration and create your login
- Re-login to fill out the complete form
- Upload the documents and pay the fee
No, JEE Main application form can only be filled online. The application form of JEE Main is released only in online mode on the website jeemain.nta.ac.in. There is no option of filling the application form in offline mode. Candidates who do not have a laptop/personal computer can visit the computer centre/common service centres to fill the application form. While filling the JEE Main 2026 application form, candidates will also have to upload scanned image of their photo and signature. Candidates belonging to reserved category (Gen-EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL) also need to upload the category certificate.
