PhD admissions 2023: IIT Bombay invites applications from foreign students

International applicants can register online at https://portal.iitb.ac.in/ till March 31, 2023.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has opened online portal for international applicants of masters and PhD programme for Autumn semester (2023-2024). International applicants can register online at https://portal.iitb.ac.in/. Interested candidates can apply on the official portal till March 31, 2023. 

Application process 

International applicants can follow the steps mentioned below to apply for masters and PhD programmes 

• Login using "Google Sign In" 
• Fill personal details  
• Upload documents such as photo, signature, copy of grade transcripts, statement of purpose, bio-data, two recommendation letters, documentary proof to illustrate fluency in English language, copy of the passport, etc. 
• Submit form  

For details, applicants can visit the the following information session link meet.google.com/kzu-kvem-phv. The institute mentioned that applicants applying only under self-finance category need to submit a copy of applicant's bank statement showing a balance of at least US$10000 (in case of the two-year postgraduate program) or US$20000 (in case of a PhD program).
