The NIRF 2025 ranking for engineering colleges in India was released on September 4. The list of top 100 engineering colleges in India as per NIRF ranking 2025 was curated based on various parameters like teaching, learning, and resources, research and professional practice, graduation outcomes, outreach and inclusivity, and peer perception.
This year, the top positions are once again dominated by the IITs, followed by NITs and some top private engineering colleges.
