UPTAC 2026 Counselling Round 1 Seat Allotment LIVE
UPTAC 2026 counselling round 1 allotment LIVE: AKTU will release the UPTAC round 1 seat allotment result on July 18. To check the seat allotment result, candidates have to login at uptac.samarth.edu.in using their Registration Number OR Registered Email and password.
It is expected that the round 1 opening and closing ranks will also be released soon after the seat allotment result.

The steps to check the UPTAC round 1 allotment are:
- Visit the official website for UPTAC counselling - uptac.admissions.nic.in.
- On the home page, look for the seat allotment link.
- Access the seat allotment link and log in using Registration Number OR Registered Email and password.
- Under the login, candidates can check their allotted college and course.

UPTAC 2026 Seat Confirmation Options
The candidates allotted seats in UPTAC counselling 2026 will have options to freeze or float the seat.
- Freeze: A candidate who chooses to "freeze" accepts the seat and does not want to participate in further rounds of seat allotment. In case of a freeze of the allotted seat, the candidate will not be included in the next stages of counselling for the upgradation of the seat, but the category of their allotted seat can be upgraded/changed in the next stage.
- Float: A candidate who chooses to "float" keeps their allocated seat but remains eligible for further rounds of counselling. Candidates who choose the "float" option are considered for upgradation.

UPTAC counselling usually has 5 rounds and 1 special round. Candidates eligible for UPTAC counselling must complete the UPTAC registration, upload their documents, undergo document verification, fill in their choices, check the allotted seats, submit their willingness, and pay the seat confirmation fee.
The last round of the UPTAC counselling is called the special round. Candidates who have confirmed their seats after last main round of the counselling process are not eligible for this round. Or, all such candidates who have been allotted seats and have paid seat acceptance fee but have not withdrawn in Stage 2 & 3 cannot appear in this round.
Fresh registration are held for the special round. Candidates have to register for using the link available on the official website of UPTAC for participating in UPTAC special counselling round.
After every round of counselling, the AKTU releases the UPTAC counselling cutoff. UPTAC counselling cutoff 2026 is released in the form of opening and closing ranks. The exam authority releases the UPTAC cutoff separately for all the courses and categories. Candidates do not require any login credentials to check UPTAC cutoff.
