WBJEEB Delays WBJEE 2021 Notification: Check Expected Registration & Exam Dates

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is the conducting authority of WBJEE, an annual entrance examination that is held to provide admissions into the BTech seats offered by the state’s engineering institutes. Students have been expecting the notification for WBJEE 2021 for quite some time, however currently, nothing has been officially released by the WBJEEB authorities.
In 2020, WBJEE notification was released in October and the entrance examination was conducted in February. Since the nation-wide lockdown was declared from March, the WBJEE 2020 result and counselling process was delayed. Since no official notification regarding WBJEE 2021 has been released yet, the examination is likely to be delayed further than February.
When will WBJEE 2021 notification be released?
WBJEEB may release the official notification of WBJEE 2021 tentatively in the last week of January or early February. Since JEE Main 2021 is being conducted from February 23 to 26, the authorities may further delay WBJEE 2021 to avoid any clashes. WBJEE 2021 can be expected to be held tentatively after March.

How will WBJEE 2021 be conducted?
WBJEE 2021 will be held as an OMR based examination at various centres across the state. The exam will also be held at Assam and Tripura. A few changes in WBJEE exam pattern might be introduced by the authorities because of the ongoing pandemic. Questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be present in the WBJEE question paper and only the qualified candidates will be able to participate in the counselling session.
