WBJEE 2026 Exam Pattern

WBJEE exam pattern 2026 is now available. WBJEEB has release the pattern along with official WBJEE 2026 information brochure. To know how entrance exam will be held, candidates can check official pattern. WBJEE 2026 exam will be conducted offline, as a pen and paper based test. There will be no computer based test. What is the WBJEE 2026 Marking Scheme?

Candidates can check category wise marking scheme as per official WBJEE exam pattern given below. Every category has a different WBJEE marking scheme. Category Marking Scheme
Category I

Each correct answer will be awarded one mark.

An incorrect response will bring a loss of 1/4 mark.

For any combination of responses with more than one option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will bring a loss of 1/4 mark.

Category II

Only one option is correct; the correct response yields two marks.

An incorrect response will bring a loss of 1/2 marks

For any combination of responses with more than one option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will bring a loss of 1/2 marks

Category III

One or more options may be correct. Only correct responses will be given 2 marks.

There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
