West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam 2026 ( WBJEE )
WBJEE 2026 question papers will be released online at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee by the authorities of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB). Candidates are advised to refer to the WBJEE question papers to know the questions that were attempted and solved during the previous years' examinations, and are likely to be repeated. | Marking Scheme |
Category I Each correct answer will be awarded one mark. An incorrect response will yield a loss of ¼ mark For any combination of responses with more than one option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield -1/4 (25% negative) marks.
Category II Only one option is correct, the correct response yields two marks. An incorrect response will yield -1/2 (25% negative) marks For any combination of responses with more than one option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield a -1/2 (25% negative) mark.
Category III One or more options may be correct. Only correct responses will yield 2 (two) marks. There is no negative marking. |

WBJEE cutoff will vary for the different colleges, courses and categories. Reserved category students are expected to have a lower cutoff than General students. Likewise, popular colleges and courses will have higher cutoffs due to the number of students applying for admission.
