COMEDK 2026 Exam Date Announced; Engineering Test on May 9
The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has released the official notification for COMEDK UGET 2026. The authority has announced the COMEDK UGET 2026 exam date on the website, comedk.org. The COMEDK UGET 2026 exam will be conducted on May 9, 2026 (Saturday). The authority will conduct the exam for admission to to undergraduate engineering programmes at 150 participating institutes in the state.
The official notice mentions that the exam is usually conducted on the second Sunday of May every year. However, due to a possible clash with other national-level exams, the date has been shifted to May 9, Saturday. The COMEDK UGET exam will be conducted as a national-level computer-based test.
COMEDK has also informed candidates that the detailed schedule, information brochure, and eligibility criteria for COMEDK UGET 2026 will be released shortly on the official website comedk.org.
There is no re-test for COMEDK UGET exam. Candidates who applied for the exam must report to their allotted exam centres as per their reporting time to appear for the test.
The COMEDK UGET reporting time is different for each shift. The morning shift reporting time is 7:30 AM, for the afternoon shift timing is 12 PM, while for evening shift it is 4:30 PM.
