Delhi University Admission Criteria 2025 Revamps for BA and Science Courses – Here’s What You Need to Know

Delhi University (DU) has published the information bulletin for admission to its 73 undergraduate courses for the 2025-26 academic session on the official website. Students who are willing to apply for the DU UG admission 2025 can check the information brochure to know the requirements in order to get admission to their desired programme.
The Delhi University 2025 prospectus contains several important details about the university including DU admission process, eligiblity criteria for undergraduate courses, structure of Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2025, important information for DU UG admission process 2025, names and details of undergraduate courses offered by the university, details of admission in supernumerary quota, details for admission to SOL and NCWEB programmes and other important information.
Delhi University Admission 2025: Who Is Eligible?
To be eligible for Delhi University UG admission 2025, students must have completed the Class 12th exam or an equivalent from a recognized board of education. There is no minimum age requirement unless stipulated by regulating agencies for certain courses. If a subject from Class 12 is not accessible in CUET UG 2025, candidates should select a closely related subject in accordance with the university admission guidelines.
Delhi University Alters Admission Criteria
The university has introduced several changes in the admission criteria for courses, including the Bachelor of Arts (BA). This year, students who have applied for the BA programme can select two domain subjects and two languages. Earlier, students had to mandatorily select one language and three domain subjects, as reported by Hindustan Times.
Besides, Students who had studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) were eligible to get admission only if they had at least 30% marks in the language paper. However, this time students have to appear in any one language paper from List A of CUET programmes in order to be eligible for admission process.
