What is the WBJEE Eligibility Criteria?

Candidates should check the official WBJEE eligibility criteria 2026 before registration to understand which requirements they need to have to be eligible for admission.

• Should be of Indian nationality. 
• Candidates should have a West Bengal domicile certificate.
• Minimum age limit is 17 years of age. There is no maximum age limit. However, for Marine Engineering, the upper age limit is 25 years.
• Should have passed 12th (or equivalent) qualifying exam with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Computer Application/Technical Vocational Subject.
• Candidates should have score minimum 45% (40% for reserved category) candidates in three subjects mentioned above.
• Atleast 30% marks should have been secured in English during 12th.
