Delhi University Admissions 2021: Over 4.38 students register for 70,000 UG seats
According to available data, 4,38,696 candidates have registered till 6 pm for nearly 70,000 seats in 63 colleges of the university.
DU Admissions 2021: The registration process for Delhi University's Undergraduate courses is over now. Over 4.38 lakh students had registered on the Delhi University's admission portal for DU Admissions 2021 till 6 pm on Tuesday, the last day of applications. The registration process ended at 11.59 pm. The Delhi University had begun the DU Applications for the UG courses process on August 2.
According to available data, 4,38,696 candidates have registered till 6 pm for nearly 70,000 seats in 63 colleges of the university. Delhi University is expected to release its first cut-off list on October 1, however, no official announcement has been made regarding the same yet. The Delhi University was earlier planning to announce the cut-off in September first-week, but later the dates were pushed to October as several students of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) schools and other boards are taking physical exams.
For the postgraduate courses, around 1,83,815 students have applied. Delhi University has announced that it has received close to 30,019 applications for the MPhil/PhD programmes for the 2021 session. The application process for DU PG courses ended on August 21, 2021.
It must be noted that the admissions for most of the courses offered at DU are on the basis of merit but for a few of the courses, it is done on the basis of the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET). Students who have applied for the various courses are advised to visit the official website for details regarding the entrance examinations and the admission procedure.
