DU Admissions 2022: More than 34,000 register on CSAS portal for DU's UG Admissions

DU Admissions 2022: More than 34,000 candidates have registered on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal for admission to undergraduate courses offered at the Delhi University until 6 pm on Tuesday. DU launched the CSAS portal on September 12 for Undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2022-23.

"So far, 34,039 candidates have registered for admission on the portal. On the first day, 24,000 students had registered," the official said, as reported by NDTV. The last date to apply on porta is on or before October 3.
There will be no offline filling up of the CSAS-2022 application form. The application fee for CSAS-2022 is INR 250 for the unreserved, OBC and Economically Weaker Sections categories and INR 100 for the SC, ST and PwBD category applicants. Delhi University will conduct trials for candidates looking forward to taking admission under the extracurricular activities (ECA) and sports quota after October 10. For admissions under the ECA and Sports Supernumerary Quotas, 25 per cent weightage will be given to the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) score 2022 and 75 per cent to certificates and trials.
Admission through the CSAS will be done in three phases -- submission of the CSAS-2022 application form, selection of programmes and filling of preferences, and seat allocation and admission. The second phase of the DU Admissions 2022 once the CUET result is released and CUET scores are out for everyone.
A candidate will be required to select the programmes in which they want to take admission. They will have to confirm the programme-specific CUET UG merit score for all the selected programmes. In the third phase, a merit list will be issued and seats will be allocated on its basis.
