DU SOL Admission Process 2025 to Undergo Changes; New Two-Part Structure Introduced

Delhi University's School of Open Learning (SOL) is proceeding to change the undergraduate program admission process in the academic session 2025-26. This time the DU SOL admission process will be segregated into two parts. Firstly, students will have to register first and then proceed for the admission process. The DU SOL 2025 Registration will be started after the release of the 12th result for the academic session 2025-26.
Admission Process Similar to Online Counselling
On the basis of registration, the applicant will know which program they are eligible to take admission in. In a way, this will be similar to online counselling conducted for admissions for several entrance examinations. First, the applicant has to register and then they have to proceed for the admission process. In registration, the authorities will take basic information of the student and then the admission process will be carried forward, which earlier used to happen simultaneously.
The two-stage admission process is being implemented to make the admission process easier. Due to admission and registration being done simultaneously, candidates had to fill a long form. Due to this, it took them more time to fill it. By implementing two stage admission process, the tedious admission process can be broken into parts.
The School of Open Learning offers several undergraduate programmes including BA Pass, BA Political Science Honours, BCom Program, BCom Honours, BA English Honours, BA Honours Economics, BA Financial Investment Analysis, Bachelor of Management Studies, BA Computer Application, BA Honours Psychology.
