Mumbai University Exam Dates 2025 Postponed Due to Maharashtra CET; Revised Schedule Out

University of Mumbai 2025 exam dates, which were scheduled from March 26 to April 1, 2025, have been postponed for seven exam codes owing to the state common entrance test 2025-26 in Maharashtra state. Check Mumbai University revised exam schedule 2025 and other details here.
The University of Mumbai (MU) has announced the revised exam schedule for programmes scheduled between March 26 to April 1, 2025. Students who are willing to appear for the examination can check Mumbai University exam dates 2025 for their respective programmes. As per the revised dates, the programme with exam codes 1802816, 1800146, 1800136, 1800156, 1800196, 1800166 and 1800256 has been rescheduled and will now be conducted as per the revised schedule.
The authorities have notified that the scheduled MU exam date sheet 2025 has been revised due to the state common entrance test 2025-26 in Maharashtra state. Students planning to appear for the following programmes will be required to check the revised exam dates.
- TY BSc (Data Science)
- TY BSc (Sem VI) (Choice Based)
- TY BSc (Sem VI) (CBGS)
- TY BSc in Computer Science
- TY BSc in Biotechnology
- TY BSc in Information Technology
As per the revised dates, Mumbai University will conduct the exam dates for all subjects i.e. TY BSc (Data Science), TY BSc (Sem VI) (Choice Based), TY BSc (Sem VI) (CBGS), TY BSc in Computer Science, TY BSc in Biotechnology and TY BSc in Information Technology on April 4, 2025. Earlier the examinations were scheduled to be held on different dates but now the entrance examination will be conducted on a single day i.e. April 4, 2025.

Mumbai University application forms are generally out in the month of June on the official website. Candidates seeking admission to MCom at Mumbai University-affiliated colleges must visit the official website of MU, i.e., mu dot AC dot in, fill MU pre-enrolment form, fill out the application form of MU affiliated colleges and then wait for the release of MU merit lists which are published on the official website of the affiliated colleges. In the field of Commerce and Accounting, Mumbai University offers a two-year MCom programme via more than 120 colleges affiliated with it. Admission to MCom is subject to a valid score in the last qualifying exam at the undergraduate level. The University offers MCom of two-year duration via its Faculty of Commerce and other affiliated colleges. Via the Faculty of Commerce, MCom is offered across two specialisations. Candidates are required to have merit in the last qualifying exam for selection and meet the minimum eligibility criteria which is to pass a relevant undergraduate degree with an aggregate ranging between 40% and 60%. Mumbai University application forms for MCom and other courses are generally out in the month of June on the official website (mu.ac.in). Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website, fill MU pre-enrolment form, fill out the application form for MU-affiliated colleges and then wait for the release of MU merit lists.
