The syllabus of the CUET subject shall at least match 50 per cent with the Class 12 subject.

CUET UG 2025: Exemption for SOL and NCWEB Students

The authorities have notified that in order to get admitted to DU, students must have completed Class 12 from a recognized Indian board or an equivalent international board recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). However, students have to ensure they have studied the subject in class 12, which they are appearing in the CUET UG 2025 exam. This rule does not, however, apply to students seeking admission to the School of Open Learning (SOL), the Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB), or foreign nationals as for them CUET UG is not mandatory.
