TISS Admissions 2023: Application deadline extended, Know last date to apply here

 

For the academic year 2023-24, the admissions at TISS-SVE are currently open across 17 sectors, encompassing Agriculture, Automotive, BFSI, Child Care, Capital Goods, Electronics, Education, Healthcare, IT-ITes, Logistics, Life Sciences, Management and Entrepreneurship, Media and Entertainment, Power, Retail Association, Sports and Tourism and Hospitality.

 

Through carefully crafted vocational education curricula, the School of Vocational Education (SVE) was established to provide skill education to young Indians. Developing job-specific skills is prioritised over merely imparting general knowledge-based education. The strategy used is known as the Internship Embedded Skill Training Programme, and many students may also receive a small stipend during this time in specific skill knowledge fields. The goal of this "Earn while you learn" strategy is to give students the opportunity to acquire a skill by combining classroom theory instruction with an internship on the actual shop floor of the industry or company.
